A tragic incident occurred in Baltimore, Maryland where 43 year old Detective Sean Suiter was shot November 15th, 2017. Detective Suiter and another homicide detective, were canvassing the 900 block of Bennett Place to investigate a triple homicide that occurred in the block last December.
Detective Suiter was involved in a viscous and violent strugle, and was shot once at close range in the head. He did get a radio distress call out, however potential witnesses are seemingly not forthcoming with information relating to his murder. At the time of this writing, no suspect has been identified, in the murder.
TSE is deeply saddened to learn of the tragic loss of Detective Suiter. Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest symphony go out to Detective Suiter’s wife, children, family, friends, and the members of the Baltimore Police Department.
The murder of Detective Suiter is a reminder of the dangers faced and sacrifices made daily by brave men and women in uniform, and all who risk their life each day to help others. Detective Suiter served Baltimore with pride, honor, and integrity since joining the Agency in 1999. Prior to working for Baltimore Police, Detective Suiter served our country in the United States Army.
Our hearts are deeply saddened by his loss, and we ask that you keep Detective Suiter; his family, friends, and colleagues in your prayers.
